About the Teeth Whitening
The appointment lasts 60-90 mins in total. Here are the steps:
- Teeth cleaning using a power water flosser
- Application of protective gum shield
- Application of whitening product to the teeth
- Activation of the whitening product using specialised light
- The product is left on for ca 10 mins and may be reapplied, depending individual needs
- Removal of the product
IMPORTANT for WHITENING
Whitening can be done only if you have no cavities or tartar, so you'll need to have a teeth cleaning & dental check-up to fix any existing cavities no more than 1 month before the whitening session.
If you use the 'Whitening' voucher, you can also use a 'Cleaning' or 'Cleaning + dentist' voucher to get your teeth ready for the whitening.
Avoid coloured and acidic food and drink products for 3 days following the treatment (such as red wine, coffee, tea, and tobacco).
Expected Results
Teeth can go up to 3 shades whiter, lasting up to 1 year. Results vary.
Teeth Sensitivity
Some people may experience tooth sensitivity during the treatment and/or for several weeks afterwards (especially when consuming hot / cold food or drinks).
Contraindications for Whitening
Teeth whitening is not for pregnant or breastfeeding women, minors, patients with untreated cavities, active gum disease, severe tooth sensitivity, visible restorations (crowns, veneers, fillings), weakened or cracked enamel, and allergies to whitening ingredients.
