Maryam - the chef/owner at Damavand - is a Tehran-born doctor who switched medicine for spices when she the restaurant in 2024.
Damavand was selected by Manor to represent Persian cuisine in their stores, and catered for international organisations (UNHCR, IOM, Red Cross), the Office of the Canton of Geneva, the University of Geneva & more.
But despite all those big names, Maryam's passion remains cooking small, personal batches meals for her guests at the restaurant, and seeing their delight when they discover Persian flavours.
