Swiss Vapeur Parc is extremely family friendly for kids and adults of all ages! We visited on a very warm day and the grounds were well planned so there was sufficient shade to enjoy the day! :) The trains are adorable and we easily spent 4 hours there with the kids (5 and 10 years old).

Parking situation. We walked because the queue for navette was too long and a bit disorganised.

The immediate parking lot can fill up quickly so we ended up parking down the street -- a complementary shuttle bus was provided between the lot and the entrance of the park but it felt like a long wait on a hot day (even though we were lucky with the timing so it could not have been more than a 10-minute wait).
