I have gone a few times now (Thonex location), and had different stylists--each one was kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. I really appreciated their viewpoint and advice.

It's possibly that there is a lack of knowing how to sytle wavy hair? I only say this because each time except for once, they blow-dried my hair straight, which is fun from time to time. Another time they blowed my hair dry then curled it, which was funny because it almost looked like my normal hair then. It was nice they took to extra effort though!

I was disappointed by the quality of my haircut and the effect of the highlighting chemicals used on my hair. I had asked for a layered cut but the result (which I discovered after 1st shampoo at home - at the salon anything can look great with decent styling)) was much more basic, not really layered and not very stylish. As for the highlighting, I specifically told the colorist to be mindful of my very sensitive hair, but the chemicals she used (and length of time left on) did end up drying up and damaging my hair anyway.
