Optional: Get a Motorboat Skipper License
You can use your lessons just for fun, or as preparation for the Canton's practical motorboat skipper license exam (Bateau à moteur cat. A):
- Most people need around 10 practical lessons before they're ready for the practical skipper exam
- To get the license you need to pass a theory + practical exam. Both exams are managed by the Geneva Canton (not by Mora Mora) & require applying separately, and are not included in your voucher
- For those who are ready to take the practical skipper exam, Mora Mora proposes a final "test simulation" lesson just before your exam, at an extra cost (not included in your voucher)
- Minimum age for getting a license: 18

The Training Boats
- Mora Mora uses TARPON boats (40-75 HP) and RIB boats (40-50 HP). These boats are stable & fast, making them ideal for learning
- The school may change the boats.
