Opened in 1979, Mikado was Geneva's 1st sushi restaurant, and is still one of Geneva's most popular. They just opened their brand new 4th restaurant in Place Grenus (near Manor). The secret to their success? High quality sushi & Japanese specialties, quick & friendly service and a fun atmosphere. It's a self-service place, ideal for a quick eat-in or take away and with so many customers constantly streaming in, the sushi is always super fresh.

Varied Sushi menu, reasonable prices

The menu includes an array of sushi options as well as salads, yakitori and other Japanese classics. Prices are very reasonable, for example: 10-piece Nigiri mix (CHF 14.8), 15-piece Hosomaki mix (CHF 10.8), 2 Yakitori skewers (CHF 5.8), 4 Shumai dumplings (CHF 4.8).

Self-service restaurant; open all day

Mikado is open Mon-Fri 10h-19h and Sat 10h-18h for eat in and take away, non-stop. It's a self-service place, meaning sushi is prepared by the chef and you pick it up from the sushi-fridge. It's terrific for a quick meal or take away, but not ideal for long romantic dinners...
