The Vallorbe Caves are one of Europe’s most beautiful geological wonders, located in Vaud (1h20 from Geneva & 45 mins from Lausanne). The caves were formed over the span of 120 million years by the River Orbe & boast mesmerizing limestone structures, intricate rock formations, crystalline "icicles" & glowing water pools that amaze both young & old.
At the end of the cave visit, you can see a fascinating collection of 250 minerals, the "Fairy Treasure Trove" and a sound & light show in the Cathedral.
