Authentic Lebanese by Beirut native chef Sami Abou Said
Chez Sami opened 8 weeks ago by owner & chef Sami Abou Said of Lebanon. Sami has been cooking fine Lebanese cuisine for the past 20 years all over the world. He says: "I cook the dishes my mother & grandmother taught me back in our village. I cook at the restaurant just like I cook at home for my family". Chef Sami is always there, and often comes out of the kitchen to greet customers in true Mediterranean style.

Chic setting in the ex no-logo space
Chez Sami took over the chik space that used to host the trendy no-logo restaurant in Paquis. It's up-market chic yet very welcoming & warm.

Excellent menu, reasonable prices
The menu offers all Lebanese classics, at reasonable prices. Our recommendation:
Mezzes:

Hummus with tahini CHF 11
Sambousek bel jebneh (savory cheese-filled pastry, 4 pieces) CHF 12

Main dishes:

Mixed lamb, chicken & kafta CHF 36
Grilled shrimp brochettes served with saffron rice CHF 38

Desert :

Go for the knefe': traditional pastry made from a semolina, angel hair pasta, sweet cheese, & sugar syrup. It ain't great for the diet, but it tastes like heaven.
