Opened in September 2010, L'Hedoniste is a warm & welcoming restaurant serving high quality, seasonal food in a relaxed, friendly & classy atmosphere. L'Hedoniste is owned and managed by the chef and the Maitre D, both of whom understand that fine food & great service are the key to a succesful restaurant.
Classic French Menu With a Twist
The menu is traditional French with a Swiss twist and offers hearty, down to earth dishes with unique flavours and aromas. Sample main dishes include:
- Plancha grilled beef fillet in a wild mushroom or green pepper sauce (CHF 42-46)
- Duck breast with carmelized apples & a cider viniagrette (CHF 38)
- Cod fish with fresh coriander & fennel (CHF 28)
- Perch fillets in a butter lemon, Provencal or tartare sauce (CHF 34-36).

When the hunting season begins (end of Autumn) the regular menu is augmented by the ‘La Chasse’ wild game menu which includes classic favorites like side of venison, stag stew and filet of wild boar. All accompanied by their traditional sides & garnishes of spatzli, squash, chestnuts & bilberry apple sauce.
