Sebastien gave me a lovely modern cut and the hair mask (steam treatment for 15 mins) nicely conditioned my hair. All the staff there are friendly and went out of their way to provide water/drinks during this intense heatwave.

Staff are nice, yet seem a bit joyless. At least, that's the vibe I picked up.
Also -- One of the apprentices (I assume) was practicing styling fake hair in the only spot in the rather large salon that had customers -- making noise with a hairdryer (of course, very normal)...however it seems to me that it could've been done in another area. I wondered about her lack of awareness and lack of supervision, i.e. Was no one there to guide her actions to ensure that clients were given great (not just good) comfort in this lovely, classy salon?

The hair washing and treatment service - I was expecting a wash with stronger hands, warmer water, and some massage movements at this level of salon but got a hairwash with very weak hands and not a very relaxing nor enjoyable experience.
