Located in Bussigny, Chez Cavu is a gourmet bistro serving modern French cuisine. Chez Cavu received 13 points in the 2012 Gault Millau Guide, which is not surprizing considering that the owner & chef is Gérard Cavuscens. A third generation chef, Gérard was the head chef at the Hotel de Ville in Crissier and at Auberge de l'Onde where he earned a prestigious Michelin star. Gérard is a true super-star chef, Chez Cavu is his vision for what a restaurant should be, and this offer is your chance to experience it.

Chez Cavu specializes in modern French cuisine made from high quality products and an authentic love of the craft. The food is superb while managing to maintin a level of simplicty. Some dishes we loved:

• Red tuna w sesame crust, eggplant caviar & tomato vinegrette
• Crab pastry w carots, celery, radish, lentilles & quinoa
• Lake fish terrine w watercress sauce
• Seared foie gras with rhubarb confi

• Main lobster with coral emulsion

Main dishes:

• Veal slices sautéed w tarragon, green beans & puree
• Beef fillet a la plancha w seasonal vegetables & potato gratin
• Lamb shoulder w sweet spices, eggplants & potatoes

Today's offer is for a 'Discovery Menu' for 2 and each person can choose 1 starter & 1 main course from the menu. This is a great way to taste a variety of dishes and we recommend choosing different dishes for each person and then sharing everything together.
