About the Teeth Whitening
The whitening treatment includes 2 appointments plus an at-home kit. Here's how it works:
- 1st appointment @ Summit: the dentist takes imprints of your teeth to create whitening trays
- 2nd appointment @ Summit (max 1 week after 1st appointment): collect your whitening trays and Philips ZOOM whitening home kit, and receive instructions how to use them
- At-home treatment: use the kit at home for 2 weeks for 1h30 daily (or as advised by the dentist).
IMPORTANT for WHITENING:
Whitening can be done only when you have no cavities & tartar. So a few weeks before starting the Whitening treatment, you'll need to have a teeth cleaning & dentist check-up to fix all cavities.
Expected Results
Teeth can go up to 8 shades whiter, lasting 2 years on average. Results vary.
Teeth Sensitivity
Some people may experience mild tooth sensitivity during the treatment and/or several weeks afterwards (especially when consuming hot / cold food or drinks)
